Thinking About Traveling? How About a Christmas Vacation In Boston

The Christmas carol plays and it goes:

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow…
And you picture yourself in front of a mantel sipping hot cocoa, while the Christmas lights twinkles away merrily and the entire house smells of a vanilla and cinnamon, the kids all excited and cheerful, making snowmen.
The scene is a little different in the Down Under- we are good when it comes to the cakes and carols and holiday cheer sans the snow.  Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a white Christmas? You no longer have to dream of a Christmas so white – you can actually be a part of it.
How does a vacation to the USA sound? It would be all snowy and freezing and but beautiful and white and Boston, Massachusetts is the perfect spot. The old world ambience, cobblestoned streets dusted with snow, the carols in the air -it does not get any better than this. You might say fares and rates are higher this time of the year and with the shaky economy it would not be easy to afford a vacation for the entire family – but with you can get real great deals on numerous cheap flights to USA from Australia, so you do not have to decide on a vacation on the basis of the cost.
Christmas vacation is a fun packed affair in Boston. There is something for everybody. The incredible landscape beauty and the rich historical past is what attract tourists to the city. The first thing to do is walking the Freedom Trail- then goes exploring Boston’s finest museums like the Gardener. The old neighborhoods are also a delight to the eyes.
Visit the Boston Public Garden, the Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park, North End, Arnold Arboretum, Old North Church, Boston Harbor Islands National Park, Samuel Adams Brewery, and Waterfront. In order to spend your evenings, get tickets to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. You could also try the Blue Man Group, Symphony Hall, Samuel Adams, Brew House, King’s Chapel, and Huntington Theatre.
Boston will never disappoint when it comes to food and if you are in for a tasty treat if you are in the city around Christmas – from the finest cakes and puddings, cookies and pies and more. Enjoy dinners at Atlantic Fish Company or the Hamersley’s Bistro, Menton, Off the Boat Seafood Restaurant.
All this and not to mention the Christmas holiday cheer to add to the merrymaking  with your family all around you – what more could you possibly ask for?
