Avocados and Anti Aging
Avocado

Most people love the taste of avocado, but did you know that avocado's actually have anti-aging properties?

It's true, avocados have a lot of nutrients that help your body make repairs, as well as healthy fats that can help you live longer. If you're already living a healthy lifestyle, you're probably well aware of the health benefits of avocados. Avocados are known as a heart healthy food due to the Oleic Acid it provides.

Oleic Acid is extremely healthy fat that can be used to lower bad cholesterol (LDL), while also increasing good cholesterol (HDL). This type of fat should be in everyone's daily diet.

On top of healthy fat benefits, avocados are a rich source of antioxidants. Antioxidants are known to help your body fight off damage from free radicals. These free radicals can damage not only your skin but also your organs.

Folate is a beneficial micronutrient, and avocados are known to provide you with a healthy dose of folate.

Potassium is another benefit of avocados. If you're not already aware, potassium is great for those who are worried about heart health, and avocados are well known to have a high amount of potassium.

Try eating a half of an avocado per day. You can put avocado and salads, mixed in with ground beef (after cooking) or in a sandwich. I prefer to slice up a half of an avocado and eat it with sprouts, spinach and ground turkey. Some people enjoy Avocado with fish, too!

Sodium and preservatives can cause a lot of damage to your tissue. Make sure to drink a lot of water to flush the sodium out of your system and eat banana's and avocados for the anti aging properties they provide.

If you're looking for a great anti aging food, you can do no wrong with Avocados!
