A few months ago I decided that I wanted to download or record the audio from a certain YouTube video that I could listen to on my phone while I went for a walk. I had no idea where to start, but I did a quick search on Google and found this YouTube to MP3 converter. It blew my mind how easy it was and I knew I had to share this information with others.

How to Download Audio from YouTube Videos

This process is very simple, so just look at the steps below and if you have any issues please let me know.

STEP 1:

Go to ConvertToAudio.com

STEP 2:

Copy and Paste the URL of your video into the converter box.

STEP 3:

After you enter the URL into the input box (where it says Enter a valid URL:), you then look below to see where is says "Choose file type to convert to:' and choose the format you want to convert the video to. A higher quality MP3 file would be 256KB.

STEP 4:

Quick step, but you can adjust the volume by clicking the link where it says "Adjust volume" below the file type drop down menu.

STEP 5:

Now you can click the "Convert Now" button (green button) and the video will start converting immediately.

NOTE: You can cancel this if you realize you forgot something, by simply clicking the cancel button below the black and blue progress bar.

STEP 7:

Congratulations! You can now download the video, save it to Dropbox or OneDrive, or even edit the file!

STEP 8:

This is simply a bonus! You can edit the file after you have converted the video, like so:
