Galoor is a High Quality Content community that prides itself on being different from other "article directories." Galoor has many social elements that helps our members get more out of the site, including Networking and Author tools, as well as activity rewards. We're different and you can contact us at any time!
We currently (while in Beta) only allow signup's through the Facebook button on the top right side of the site. This functionality allows us to better filter who signs up so that we can help cut down on spam.
Once you're registered you can click the "Submit Articles" button on the navigation menu. From there you should see a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor with a Category menu, too. We do manually approve our articles to keep our quality high.
A WYSIWYG (pronounced "wizzy wig") editor is a program that allows you to create and edit content within our site. It works much like other Document programs such as MS Word, although if you copy and paste from Word you may see some special characters, which is why we suggest that you do not copy and paste from other Desktop editors to avoid these issues. The WYSIWYG editor helps you bold, italicize and underline words, as well as add quotes, list items and more.
We currently do not support languages other than English, but that could change over time.
While we do allow links to be published in your articles, we currently only allow 1 link per article for new users. This may be changed over time.
No, we do not pay for articles. Galoor is a free resource with no plans to change.
You can edit any article you want by going to your profile, finding the article you want to edit and clicking "edit." Please note that once you edit and re-submit your article, you will have to wait for a new manual review to take place.
You are allowed to submit as many articles as you'd like as long as they're yours (100%, no spun content) and they're original. We do not allow submissions of previously posted articles.
Yes, you can edit your Bio by going to Profile -> and then click the Author name you'd like to edit.
Yes, we do allow pen names. You can create them by going to your profile and clicking on "add author."
We do allow websites to publish the articles found on Galoor onto their websites, but we do require you to post a link back to the original article and keep any and all links from the original article, in respect of the author.
There is no default time estimations for article reviews, although we are generally quicker than other "directories."
